Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite 7.0 Ascential's Integration Suite supports IBM z/OS Unix System Service and extended Red Hat Linux, interface enhancements, multilingual capabilities, and advancements in cross-platform metadata-driven development are among the improvements to Ascential's enterprise integration solution. Interoperability standards supported include Enterprise Java Beans, Java Messaging Service, and Web services. Working within a service-oriented architecture, the system helps eliminate "concerns about data sources, quality, volumes, and latency," according to the company. At the time of the 7.0 suite release, Ascential also announced availability of its new Ascential Real-Time Integration Services, which increases interoperability within the system.
BusinessObjects Performance Manager Business Objects has released its Performance Manager as step two in a plan to offer a complete enterprise performance management solution. Out-of-the-box scorecard features let managers assign ownership of tasks and goals to specific employees or groups. Strategy Maps help users see the enterprisewide picture to monitor their performance in achieving company objectives.
Datasweep Complaint Handling Operations performance management solutions provider Datasweep now offers a tool that links call center complaints to product life cycles. The software, which is fully integrated with the Datasweep Advantage suite, proposes that manufacturers can reduce the likelihood of a recall by unearthing flaws in products earlier in their life cycles. Product-related complaints can be traced back through the product's development — an undertaking that the company is marketing toward medical device manufacturers.
Equivalent Script IT developers, DBAs, and other SQL-writing staffers can now create a SQL script once and automatically convert it for other database servers' use. Equivalent Script can write for Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Acess, and MySQL. It requires Windows 98 or later.

Leveraging the Microsoft .Net Framework, the Web-based OLAP Hub 4.1 has enhanced its scalability, adopted easier methods for security administration over large groups, and improved its deployment.
