Ascential Enterprise Integration Suite 7.0 Ascential's Integration Suite supports IBM z/OS Unix System Service and extended Red Hat Linux, interface enhancements, multilingual capabilities, and advancements in cross-platform metadata-driven development are among the improvements to Ascential's enterprise integration solution. Interoperability standards supported include Enterprise Java Beans, Java Messaging Service, and Web services. Working within a service-oriented architecture, the system helps eliminate "concerns about data sources, quality, volumes, and latency," according to the company. At the time of the 7.0 suite release, Ascential also announced availability of its new Ascential Real-Time Integration Services, which increases interoperability within the system.

Out-of-the-box scorecard features let managers assign ownership of tasks and goals to specific employees or groups. Strategy Maps help users see the enterprisewide picture to monitor their performance in achieving company objectives.

Leveraging the Microsoft .Net Framework, the Web-based OLAP Hub 4.1 has enhanced its scalability, adopted easier methods for security administration over large groups, and improved its deployment.
